The LaunchPad: Social Sciences program is seeking a motivated and reliable student worker to support our first-year college success course students with LaunchPad Social Sciences. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting their peers to succeed, is studying social sciences, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. This position offers hands-on experience in a supportive academic setting and the chance to develop valuable professional skills.

Essential Duties
--------------------
Provide general administrative support to LaunchPad faculty and staff.
Assists, attends, and supports student programming, workshops, and events designed to foster community among LaunchPad students.
Exhibits leadership skills to guide students in utilizing TCC's support resources to be successful.
Act as a peer mentor for LaunchPad students, sharing insights and tips on academic success and social science career aspirations.
Aids in the setup and facilitation of service learning and other interactive classroom activities.
Performs other duties related to the position as required or directed.
Minimum Qualifications
--------------------------
Enrolled in six hours as a student at TCC studying in the social science field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a welcoming and approachable demeanor.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with TCC's student support services is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
