Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and motivated Late Night Closers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for closing operations, ensuring the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready for the next day. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently during late-night hours. Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or restaurant operations is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with a background in the food industry, retail math, or grocery store experience will find this role aligns well with their skill set.

Duties

Finalize daily sales transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards during closing hours Handle cash register operations including cash handling and balancing registers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities Restock supplies and organize storage areas for the next day's operations Ensure all equipment is turned off and secure premises at closing time Support team members with general duties such as food prep and customer service as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to efficiently close out shifts within designated timeframes Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work late-night hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not required Reliable transportation and ability to work independently during late-night shifts
