We are seeking a dedicated Last Mile Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will utilize your driving skills and customer service expertise to ensure a positive experience for our clients. This position requires heavy lifting and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries.
Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items.
Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Utilize warehouse experience to manage inventory effectively during loading/unloading processes.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary for moving heavy items.
Assist with manual transmission driving when required.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
Familiarity with route driving and logistics is beneficial.
Customer service experience is essential for maintaining client satisfaction.
Warehouse experience, including loading/unloading practices, is a plus.
Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is required.
