MACHINE OPERATOR

Responsibilities
Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with the die or blade. Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects and machine malfunction. Measure workpiece dimensions with the necessary tools. Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from work pieces. Spot weld workpieces.
Qualification
Structured training or relevant work experience. Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to perform basic math. Ability to reason and problem-solve as it pertains to position. Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.
