Overview

We are seeking a skilled Large Format Printer Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating high-end printing equipment to produce large-scale visual displays, banners, signage, and print advertising materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, color management, and graphic design, with experience in lamination and cut vinyl. Responsibilities

Operate large-format printers with precision to produce high-quality prints for various applications such as signage, banners, and displays Manage prepress tasks, including layout design, typography, and color management to ensure accurate color reproduction and image quality Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct issues related to print alignment, color consistency, and material defects Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, including flexo presses and CNC machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime Assist with graphic design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite to prepare files for printing Coordinate with production teams to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards Conduct routine maintenance on printers and related machinery such as machining tools and forklifts when necessary Implement best practices in print advertising production to deliver visually impactful results

Qualifications

Proven experience in large format printing or related manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of screen printing, prepress processes, color management, and layout design Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly desirable Familiarity with CNC machining, flexo presses, typography, and print advertising techniques is a plus Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a manufacturing setting Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards Basic understanding of graphic design principles and ability to troubleshoot print issues effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Prior experience working with CNC equipment or machining tools is advantageous

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
