Internal Description

Assigned to specific equipment and crossed trained on equipment in other areas of the operation as needed. Role will include setting up equipment, general maintenance, and meeting production standards related to output and quality. Operates equipment and machinery used for processes such as packaging, bindery, finishing and print production not requiring highly specialized training

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and equipment before production runs, ensuring that they are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Monitor machines during production runs, checking for any issues or malfunctions and adjusting as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machines and equipment and make repairs or escalate issues as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other workers.
• Follow production schedules and workflows to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Record production data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and production management, to ensure that products meet customer and industry standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve machine operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Participate in training and development programs to improve their skills and knowledge of machines and equipment.
• Perform primary task as well as other tasks assigned as business requires.

Work Schedules and Arrangements

• Onsite position
• Hourly (wage from $15-$16 per hour)
• Hours

• Part Time - Flexible hours
