Position Summary

The

Landscape Sales & Project Estimator

is responsible for meeting with clients, understanding their landscape goals, developing project designs and estimates, and converting leads into successful projects. This role bridges sales, design, and operations--requiring both customer communication skills and technical estimating ability.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess site conditions, discuss project goals, and develop landscape solutions. Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and designs for landscape construction and enhancement projects. Generate detailed takeoffs and cost estimates (materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors). Present and sell projects to clients, maintaining a high close rate through professional communication and follow-up. Work closely with the operations team to ensure projects are executed according to plan, on time, and within budget. Maintain relationships with existing clients and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and local marketing. Track and manage project bids, proposals, and sales pipeline in CRM software (if applicable).

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in landscape sales, estimating, or project management (or related construction field). Strong understanding of landscape materials, plants, irrigation systems, and construction practices. Ability to read and create basic landscape plans or sketches. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong math and organizational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and estimating or CRM software (preferred). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Base Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
