MMC Land Management is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Gibsonia location. This role involves leading and managing the operations within a department in the landscaping division
Responsibilities include:
Team Management: Supervising and leading a team of landscapers. This involves hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Project Coordination: Planning and coordinating landscaping projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget constraints
Resource Allocation: Managing equipment, tools, and resources required for various projects, ensuring they are utilized effectively and maintained properly
Client Interaction: Communicating with clients to understand their requirements, providing estimates, presenting proposals, and addressing any concerns or issues throughout the project lifecycle
Quality Control: Ensuring that landscaping projects meet high-quality standards and comply with safety regulations and environmental guidelines
Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing the budget for landscaping projects, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality
Problem Solving: Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during projects, making quick decisions, and finding practical solutions to keep operations running smoothly
Compliance and Regulations: Staying updated on industry regulations, permits, and environmental standards to ensure compliance in all landscaping activities
Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in processes, technology, or operations and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in operations and project management
Demonstrated strong leadership qualities to effectively manage teams, delegate tasks, provide guidance, and motivate employees
Excellent verbal and written communication skills vital for interacting with teams, clients, senior management, and other stakeholders
The ability to adapt to changes and multitask effectively
Computer literate
