: Install Business Development Manager for Green Summit Landscape Management finds and secures new landscape install projects to achieve sales goal. A Business Development Manager is compensated with a base salary and earns monthly commissions for install contract sales.
Green Summit Landscape Management is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager for the Install Division to expand our reach in new landscape installation. This role is crucial for driving the overall growth of Green Summit.
As a new Install Business Developer, you'll be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through strategic networking and strengthening existing relationships with current clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Meet or exceed landscape install sales goal by working with landscape estimators to provide landscape install proposals by responding to all RFP opportunities of Green Summit's ideal customer base. A monthly commission for install sales will be determined.
2. Follow up on outstanding install proposals using the Install Sales Pipeline report. Create a priority list of clients and projects to gather as much information as possible about opportunities.
3. Gather feedback from lost or missed install opportunities and help make corrections for current and future estimates.
4. Develop a target list of potential clients from many different business segments. Actively contact potential clients and build relationships in order to earn business opportunities with them. Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers (i.e., General Contractor Estimators).
5. Calculate material quantities for landscape install estimating using the Green Summit Install Estimator, the Unit Pricing Spreadsheet, and Property Intell Software. Enter the required quantities and install estimates into the QuickBooks Install Proposal Template.
6. Prepare marketing materials as needed along with presentations for client meetings, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences. Join professional networking associations and attend events when possible (i.e. NAOP meetings). Create LinkedIn account and profile to connect with all potential clients and interact as needed.
7. Obtain resources for finding and developing new business relationships (i.e. Procore, Building Connected, Book of List, and other business publications). Plan time to make calls or visits to potential clients as needed.
8. Attend bi-weekly Install Sales update meeting. Report any new sales updates at this meeting and ensure that sold enhancements are added to the production schedule.
9. Secure a signed contract of all awarded install contracts. Fill out and turn in a New Install Project Packet to the accounting department when a contract is awarded.
10. As needed, attend the install daily huddle meeting with the operations team to ensure a swift hand-off of new and upcoming contracts and projects.
11. Schedule the hand-off meeting with the Install Field Operations Manager and Project Manager. Hand off relationship to the Project Manager and ensure good account information and direction is given. Make sure the new customer is introduced to the Project Manager is and provides contact information.
12. Obtains and reads professional publications and attends educational opportunities when possible.
13. Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Computer Skills
: Proficient in Windows 10 and earlier editions and latest editions in Microsoft Office applications; typing speed a minimum 65 wpm.
Education
: 4-year College degree or equivalent is preferred. Business and/or Landscape Management Degree is preferred.
