Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Landscape Crew Leader

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, landscape construction, and maintenance. This role requires hands-on leadership in the field and the ability to manage a crew to complete high-end landscape projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team on job sites for landscape installation and maintenance projects

Oversee and participate in planting, pruning, mulching, lawn care, and seasonal clean-ups
Execute hardscape installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and drainage systems
Install and troubleshoot low-voltage landscape lighting systems
Interpret and implement landscape design plans and specifications
Ensure safety, quality control, and efficiency on all job sites
Communicate effectively with clients and project managers
Operate and maintain landscape equipment and vehicles
Train and mentor crew members as needed

Requirements

Minimum

5 years of professional experience

in landscaping with demonstrated leadership experience Extensive knowledge of

horticulture

drainage systems

,

hardscaping

,

landscape lighting

, and

property maintenance

Strong understanding of plant care, materials, and construction techniques
Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Valid

driver's license

with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus) Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
