Duties

Lead and supervise landscaping crews in executing a variety of projects including landscape installation, maintenance, lawn care, tree trimming, irrigation system setup, and gardening tasks. Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members. Provide hands-on guidance and training to crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, horticulture practices, and maintenance procedures. Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to guarantee the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper use of tools and machinery. Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress. Support new crew members through mentorship and onboarding processes to foster a skilled and motivated team.

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping installation, lawn care, tree care, irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, or related fields. Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience within a landscaping or construction environment. Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques and maintenance practices. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and high performance. Knowledge of safety regulations related to landscaping operations and equipment use.
