Join our team to help recognize the greats of the game!
Under the supervision of the Landscape Superintendent the Landscape Associate will assist with the maintaining of the grounds at the World Golf Hall of Fame (HOF) and the Walk of Champions in accordance with established landscaping goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires at least one year of landscape experience
- The individual must be 18 years of age
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Perform a variety of grounds tasks somewhat independently but within specific guidelines set by the Landscape Superintendent
- Mow the grounds of the World Golf Hall of Fame and around the Walk of Campions.
- Trim, weed and edge around the property
- Maintain the grow-in on the WGHOF Putting Course and Challenge Hole so that its usability remains in peak condition
- Ensure OSHA safety regulations are followed and that all employees have a clean, organized and safe working environment that meets all local, state and federal regulations; adhere to protective clothing and/or use protective equipment to comply with established EPA operating standards
- Monitor auxiliary landscaping components such as sprinkler systems, lighting, water sprays and fountains to ensure their proper and efficient functioning
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Landscape Superintendent and all related work as required
