Be the Legacy is an internship program and a valuable opportunity for individuals to gain practical work experience in the AEC field. Offering students, the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations, providing a bridge between academic learning and professional practice. Our hands-on learning experience will develop essential skills, build a professional network, and provide insights into your chosen career path. Come intern with us at our Omaha location! What you need:

Current student at an accredited college or university in a landscape architecture program. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of unique personalities and professional styles. Ability to perform self-motivated work, as well as collaborate and contribute to a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

You bring to the team:

Pursuing a degree in landscape architecture. Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. Apply standard landscape architectural design techniques and procedures. Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. Proficiency in software including but not limited to AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion/D5, and 3D modeling software such as Rhino or Sketchup. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail. Passion for community-based design projects. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
