Position Overview:

The Laborer Skilled - Journeyman performs advanced construction and maintenance support tasks in industrial and commercial environments. This position requires proficiency in assisting multiple trades, operating light equipment, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Trade Assistance:

Support pipefitters, carpenters, welders, and other crafts by performing semi-skilled labor duties.

Equipment Operation:

Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other light machinery safely and efficiently.

Material Management:

Load, unload, and distribute materials and tools to crews as needed.

Site Maintenance:

Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.

Safety Enforcement:

Model and promote safety compliance and job-site best practices.

Task Execution:

Perform form setting, basic concrete work, rigging, and other trade support as directed.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of four (4) years of industrial or construction labor experience. Demonstrated skill in supporting multiple trades and operating construction tools and light equipment. Knowledge of construction safety and basic OSHA standards. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Preferred Experience:

OSHA 30-Hour Certification. Forklift and telehandler operator certifications. Experience working in refineries, power plants, or large industrial facilities.

Work Environment:

Work performed at industrial and construction job sites, often outdoors or in confined spaces. Must adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE at all times.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Labor Foreman or Project Superintendent. May assist in mentoring apprentices or new hires.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and project scope, in accordance with Nevada law.
