Job Summary





Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor on water and wastewater infrastructure construction projects, clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards, and may assist other craft workers and perform other labor-related duties as instructed by supervisor. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in heavy civil construction while contributing to critical community infrastructure.


Essential Functions




Perform tasks involving physical labor on the project Load and unload material Control set-up May operate hand and power tools Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards Perform work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.) Adhere to all safety guidelines set forth in the company's safety program Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling items up to 50 pounds Perform other labor-related duties as instructed by the supervisor

Required Skills & Experience



At least 1-year of water and wastewater infrastructure (or related industry) laborer experience Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing. reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and climbing) Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and be able to take direction from supervisor and stay on task to get the job done General labor skills Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of all types Knowledge of operating a variety of other equipment and instruments is a plus
