Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC (AOPS) has exciting opportunities for Landscape Laborers at Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL. Landscape Laborers will support site preparation and finishing tasks including backfilling, grading, leveling, seeding, sodding, and general landscaping. This role is essential to ensure outdoor spaces are safe, functional, and visually appealing.


This is a temporary position scheduled to last approximately 98 days.


Perform backfilling operations to support trenching, excavation, and utility installations Grade and level soil to meet project specifications and ensure proper drainage Install sod and apply seed to establish turf in residential, commercial, or public areas Operate hand tools and light equipment such as rakes, shovels, compactors, and skid steers Assist with planting, mulching, and other landscape finishing tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols Load and unload materials, including soil, sod, seed, and landscaping supplies Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to meet project timelines

Job Requirements:

Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or site preparation preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Familiarity with basic grading and soil compaction techniques * Must be familiar with right-of-way safety and equipment for direct boring projects
