Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Government, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States.

Summary




Under supervision, perform a variety of semi-skilled tasks in an outdoor environment (Shipping container), operating power tools, drilling holes in meter box heads, also including material handling, equipment operation, and site organization. Ensure the smooth flow of supplies and materials for job-site operations. Once the job duties have been completed, the candidate has the opportunity to be promoted into a field meter installer technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Report to Crew Leader, Site Supervisor, or Construction Manager to receive daily assignments. Perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks using hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment for material handling. Primary tasks include: operating a drill press to drill holes into meter boxes. +

Material Handling


- Receive, unload, and organize materials and supplies in the warehouse or at job sites.
- Accurately count and verify incoming shipments and inventory.
- Stage materials and supplies as per crew or project needs.

Equipment Use and Maintenance


- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in working order, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Operating a drill press

Site Preparation and Clean-Up


- Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and free of obstructions.
- Assist with preparing materials and equipment for transport to job sites.

Competency




To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate:

Effective teamwork and the ability to collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and other teams. Safe operation of warehouse equipment and tools. Organizational skills to efficiently manage materials and supplies. An understanding of proper inventory handling, storage, and documentation.

Qualifications




To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following qualifications.

Able to pass Background check and Drug Screen. Possess a valid state drivers license Ability to use power tools and warehouse equipment.

Education/Experience



High school diploma or GED preferred, or one to three months of related experience and/or training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.

Work days;

Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm
