Schedule:

40 hours weekly | Flexible shifts - may vary between days, nights, and different shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours)

Summary:

Seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to support one of our facilities while performing a wide range of diagnostic testing and laboratory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Blood Bank and Pediatric laboratory procedures, with experience in Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing and analysis in compliance with established standards and procedures. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers. Conduct Blood Bank testing and support pediatric laboratory procedures. Record and interpret results accurately, ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support patient care. Maintain laboratory safety standards, equipment calibration, and inventory management. Support additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' laboratory technician experience is required. Registered Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT). Experience with Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers is preferred Blood Bank and Pediatric laboratory experience required. Current AHA BLS certification Phlebotomy skills preferred, but not required.
