Primary responsibilities are to act as the liaison between the Laboratory Department and any customer having a relationship with the Catholic Health Department of Laboratory Services and providing high quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED
Associates degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years in laboratory setting preferred or customer service field preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Possess excellent communication skills - written, oral, and interpersonal
Clear understanding of medical terminology
Working knowledge of LIS/HIS and PC-based such as MS Word and Excel preferred
Customer service skills as demonstrated in current or previous job experience, documented training/in-services
Ability to handle multiple complex issues under pressure without demonstrating any sign of frustration or disorganization
Have the initiative and ability to demonstrate ultimate concern for the customers, anticipating their needs and going beyond their expected levels of service
Demonstrated telephone etiquette techniques
