Position Summary:

Under direct supervision of Principal Investigator and/or Staff Research Associate responsibilities include the following: Genotyping and maintenance of animal colonies, carrying out immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridization procedures; preparing stock solutions and maintaining supplies for the experiements at hand; and maintaining data records.

Required:

Graduation from high school or a General Education Diploma and two years of laboratory experience or two years of college including courses in the natural, physical or social sciences and one year of laboratory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Minimum of bachelors degree in scientific field Willingness to work with animals ( mice) Basic or high level computer skills Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Previous laboratory experience Experience with dissection of animals Experience with colony maintenance, crossing and genotyping
