Labor & Employment Partner - Atlanta, GA
Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Partner to join its Atlanta office. This client is one of the top law firms our team works with and we have placed a majority of the partners in the Atlanta office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong practice advising employers on the full spectrum of workplace issues, as well as experience managing litigation, compliance, and risk mitigation for clients across industries. Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel to employers on all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, wage and hour compliance, workplace policies, and employee relations.
• Manage complex employment litigation and administrative matters before federal and state courts and agencies.
• Draft and negotiate employment, severance, and restrictive covenant agreements.
• Build and expand client relationships through exceptional service, thought leadership, and business development initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor associates and other team members within the practice group.
• Contribute to firm growth by leveraging an existing book of business and participating in business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the Georgia Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
• 10+ years of experience in labor and employment law, including both counseling and litigation.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Portable book of business strongly preferred; growth-oriented partners with partial practices will also be considered.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience working collaboratively across offices and practice groups a plus.
