POSITION SUMMARY:




CovationBio has an opportunity at our Red Mill Technology Center in Newark, DE site for a Lab/Office Coordinator who is dedicated to supporting the Research & Development Team. We are looking for a reliable, organized person with good interpersonal skills and proficiency with the Microsoft platform of software applications to address a wide variety of items necessary to keep the Red Mill Technical Center operational. The expectation is to proactively look for and manage administrative activities that will help the site run efficiently. This person will work closely with the technical team to support a wide range of functions - for example, purchasing of supplies, establishing and managing inventories, maintaining EHS records (environmental, health, safety), automating workflows, shipping of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, building and managing parts of the technology budget, and acting as a site contract administrator.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



Handle purchasing and receiving for the Red Mill Technology Center (support ordering through SAP and credit cards, coordinate capital purchase orders, confirm receipt of goods or services in SAP, liaise between vendors and our finance department) Manage and budget for site inventories (e.g. chemicals, break room) and create new inventories when necessary (e.g. supplies, equipment) Support EHS initiatives and maintain our EHS SharePoint site Act as contract administrator for Red Mill site facilities work Ship non-hazardous packages and support shipment of hazardous packages Coordinate with Technology and Regulatory teams to facilitate imports/exports Assist with necessary administrative tasks to maintain Newark Technology Center site operability

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



Eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship Demonstrated strong skills: communication, interpersonal relations, and organization Demonstrated proficiency: Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and/or SharePoint Experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Forms (or equivalent knowledge in adjacent platform) Demonstrated experience in managing inventories and databases

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



Experience working in SAP Professional Certificate showing proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and/or SharePoint Experience in using Microsoft VBA and Power Platform (e.g. Power App, Power BI, Power Automate) At least 3 years of administrative assistant experience or equivalent work experience * Experience in using Microsoft CoPilot
