The Lab Tech performs all duties related to the preparation, distribution, collection, and storage of lab specimens. This role properly identifies patients by adhering to hospital specimen identification policies prior to specimen collection. In support of laboratory operations, the Lab Tech also provides general administrative support to the laboratory staff, including filing, record maintenance, responding to client/patient calls, mail delivery, and other duties as assigned within scope.
High School Diploma or GED required. Previous phlebotomy and/or lab experience preferred.
