Temporary

Laboratory Technician 1 is being recruited for in the

Department of Genome Sciences'

Molecular Biology Lab to perform basic laboratory procedures including:



restocking, sorting and autoclaving laboratory materials - 40%


maintaining stocks and making solutions - 30%


recording data and maintaining laboratory records - 15%


managing a complex lab waste stream - 15%


Minimum Requirements:



High school graduation or GED certificate; OR one year's experience performing routine work cleaning laboratory glassware, materials, or work areas or equivalent.


Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details



Pay Range Minimum:



$21.28 hourly

$22.28 hourly
