We are seeking a detail-oriented, compliance-focused Lab Support Technician to join our team in supporting Environmental Monitoring activities within GMP-regulated cleanrooms and classified process areas. This role plays a critical part in maintaining contamination control and ensuring product safety in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities



Perform environmental monitoring and collect samples in cleanrooms and controlled process areas. Sample high-purity water, clean steam, and compressed gas systems. Handle, document, and manage samples in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements. Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, media, and reagents. Support general lab operations including cleaning of controlled temperature units, autoclave operation, and other routine tasks. Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration coordination. Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking and test result documentation. Participate in scheduled overtime, weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations. Contribute to the training of new team members.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences

with

0-1 year of industry experience

,

OR



Associate's degree in Life Sciences

with

2+ years of industry experience

.
Basic understanding of microbiology and contamination control principles. Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in computer systems and organizational tools. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications



Prior experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. Hands-on experience with Environmental Monitoring in GMP settings. Familiarity with LIMS and cGMP practices.

Additional Information




This is an

indoor, lab-based position

requiring significant time in ISO 8 cleanrooms. The role includes specific hygiene and safety requirements:

No cosmetic products

(e.g., makeup, false lashes, spray tans) permitted in cleanroom areas.

Nails

must be short, clean, and free of polish or adornments.

Jewelry

is restricted to one smooth ring band or medical alert items.

Hair and facial hair

must be neatly groomed and fully contained in appropriate coverings. Must be able to meet physical demands, including lifting 25+ lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and operating lab equipment.

Position Details



Schedule

: Full-time, Second Shift + Wednesday - Saturday, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Training is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm)
+ Flexibility required for potential shift changes, weekend work, and overtime
