Requirements
Experience
12 months of acute care experience.
12 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.
BS completion required
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Certifications
BLS (Required)
MT/MLS (Required)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Required

Required Skills / Experience:

Laboratory equipment operation skills



Microbiology; must be able to read plates/micro

Preferred Skills / Experience:

One year of general laboratory experience.

Required Credentials:

CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification as a medical technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist



MLS-M



Education: Bachelor's Degree required in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent



Graduates who are Registry eligible may be considered for employment, prior to receiving ASCP or equivalent certification

Special Requests:

Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.



Must meet CLIA '88 requirements for performing high complexity testing as defined in the Federal Register, Vol. 57; #40, Subpart 493.1489.

Shift & Scheduling:

Thursday and Friday is 07:00-17:30, and Saturday and Sunday is 07:00-15:30
