Responsible for registering all patients appropriately, obtaining blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Graduate of a Phlebotomy program preferred.
Previous Experience:
1. One year of current phlebotomy experience preferred.
Other Special Training/Skills:
Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
* Must possess good interpersonal skills so that communication with patients puts them at ease.
