Job Description

As a Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist at CentraCare Sauk Centre, you will support the laboratory team by creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients as you perform a limited test menu in the laboratory in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and serology. This position is responsible for specimen collection, specimen processing, test performance, and for reporting test results for acute care (hospital), long term care, clinic and reference lab specimens. Performs tasks that are necessary to support pre-testing and post-testing functions within CentraCare Laboratories.

SCHEDULE:

Full time | 80 hours every two weeks Monday - Friday | 4 days a week | 6:00am-4:30pm

PAY & BENEFITS:

Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour and increases with experience + Pay range: $17.00-$25.54 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required, verified within 30 Days. Graduate from or in the process of pursuing a degree from an accredited laboratory or medicine-related program, preferred.
