The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Sterling-Cascades enter is seeking an energetic and organized individual who loves children to assist the Instructor in running our Kumon center. The Sterling-Cascades Parkway Kumon center operates as an after-school Math and Reading Program for children ages 4 to 18 years old. Assistants are responsible for assisting the Kumon Instructor in grading worksheets, observing student's learning, and student instruction. Paid training will be provided. A Math and Reading test will be given (before hire) to determine qualification. The tests are equivalent to Algebra I for Math and 8th-grade competency in Reading.

Requirements:

Able to work in the US- At least 16 years old. Competency equivalent to Algebra I and 8th grade Reading Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children Ability to work afternoons/early evenings and Saturdays. (Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30pm-7:00pm and Saturdays from 11:00am-1:00pm) For consideration, please send your resume via email.
