We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license, specializing in industrial construction projects such as manufacturing and chemical plants.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, reviewing, and overseeing the construction of structural components, while ensuring full compliance with all applicable safety regulations and building codes.
Your duties will include:
Design and analyze building structures to ensure safety and stability.
Work closely with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to create structural designs.
Develop and prepare detailed drawings, technical specifications, and project reports
Evaluate project needs to recommend appropriate materials and construction methods that balance quality and cost.
Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Partner with architects, contractors, and engineers to resolve construction challenges effectively.
Review and approve project plans and designs to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
Investigate and diagnose structural issues and failures, providing recommendations for repairs or modifications.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
Your qualifications are as follows:
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, or relevant field.
5+ years of professional experience in related fields.
A valid Professional Engineer license.
Expert level of experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Expert level of understating BIM.
Strong understanding of current building codes and industry standards.
Proven experience in managing large scale construction projects.
