Responsibilities

Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating to meet presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to promote a safe and efficient workspace. Serve meals efficiently during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests or residents. Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and hygiene practices, to prevent contamination. Collaborate with team members on catering events or special meal services, contributing to smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and kitchen equipment operation. Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques. Experience in menu planning or food industry roles that involve food preparation or restaurant service is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
