Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure food safety standards are met while providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, ovens, and grills safely and efficiently. Support menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during meal periods. Participate in catering events as needed, helping with setup, service, and cleanup. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary department standards is a plus. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are advantageous. A passion for culinary arts, catering, or restaurant operations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
