Tessa' House is a 16-bed residential treatment center providing a 30-day rehabilitation program. The program is dedicated to assisting women in their path to recovery.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities. In this pivotal role, you will do food preparation, maintain high standards of food safety and quality, and coordinate with Leadership Team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment that inspires excellence in every dish served. Duties

daily kitchen operations, including food production, food handling, and food service activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Create menu planning in collaboration with Leadership Team and dietician to ensure offerings meet quality standards while managing inventory control effectively. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes to maintain a safe working environment. Manage inventory levels for ingredients, supplies, and equipment; conduct regular stock checks; place orders as needed to prevent shortages Collaborate with Executive Director on operational improvements, cost control initiatives. Maintain accurate records of food costs, waste logs, safety inspection

Experience

Proven experience within a culinary environment Background in food production Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and dietary department procedures. Hands-on experience with inventory management systems and inventory control techniques. Expertise in menu planning, food preparation techniques including cooking skills across various cuisines or styles preferred. Excellent communication skills
