Duties

Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating under supervision Support the catering team by preparing and organizing supplies for events and banquets Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly during service to ensure a welcoming environment for guests Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations Assist with basic cooking tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen managers to support meal service Contribute to overall kitchen organization and inventory management by restocking supplies as needed Support banquet setups and breakdowns for special events or large gatherings Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated newcomers Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus Experience with catering or banquet service enhances your ability to excel in this role Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning techniques is advantageous Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
