Duties

Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Help with food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and welcoming Handle food safely by adhering to proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and staff Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Experience with food preparation, cooking, or banquet service is a plus Customer service mindset with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Basic understanding of hospitality operations or hotel experience is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.95 - $25.23 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
