Job Summary:
We are seeking a

Part Time

dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team at an independent pizzeria in Waunakee. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an attention to detail, who enjoy preparing quality food and a desire to work in a

environment.

Starting Rate of pay is $14-$17 per hour(BOE) plus cash tips

(tips average $3-$4/hr extra on top of hourly rate)Room for growth

*Must be 16yrs or older please!

This job includes evening and weekend hoursPlease do Not apply if you cannot work the following:

Must be Available all day Friday (or minimum the afternoon/evening), all day Saturday and afternoon/evening on Sunday.

Job is 20-25 hrs per week

Responsibilities:

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, restocking and following recipes
- Prepare orders, as they are received, in a timely manner and cooking them in our electric stone deck pizza ovens.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth coordination in the kitchen
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Working as a team and efficiently with other staff members. Keeping kitchen clean and well stocked

Weekend and Evening hours are Required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment Is preferred, but willing to train. Pizza experience is a bonus!
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods, preferred, but willing to train
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. English is necessary
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
