Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

occasional Saturdays

for special weekends/events

$16.50-$22/hr

The Opportunity

We're hiring a

Kitchen Team Member

to prep and assemble core menu items--

onigiri, sandos, parfaits

, and other signatures--and to produce our

house-made purees and sauces

used across the cafe.

What You'll Do

Prep & Assembly:

Make onigiri, sandos, parfaits, and seasonal items to spec (weights/grams, visual standards)

Production:

Batch and label house purees, syrups, and sauces; track yields; follow par sheets

Quality & Safety:

Practice FIFO; date/label; manage allergens; uphold food safety & sanitation

Organization:

Keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and service-ready; maintain daily/weekly cleaning lists

Receiving & Inventory:

Assist with deliveries, storage, and rotation; flag low stock proactively

Collaboration:

Communicate clearly with cafe and bar teams to support smooth service
What We're Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and a

team player

with a calm, organized work style Able to

follow recipes precisely

and maintain consistent quality at pace Comfortable with knife work, digital scales, and basic kitchen equipment Food handler certification/ServSafe a plus (or willingness to obtain) Prior cafe/commissary/prep experience is helpful but

not required

Physical Expectations

Stand for most of the shift; frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; kitchen/cafe noise levels may be moderate to high during rushes.
