Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support banquet operations by preparing large quantities of food as needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. A background in hospitality or culinary arts is a plus, especially for those interested in advancing their careers in the kitchen. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
