Duties

Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware. Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient service flow Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to meet guest expectations

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures Experience with food preparation, cooking, or banquet service is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Customer service mindset with a positive attitude and attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
