Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help with food handling tasks, ensuring that all food is stored and prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the team during busy service periods by bussing tables and assisting with banquet setups when necessary. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques in cooking and food preparation.
