EMPLOYMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Harrisburg is located in the Mid-Willamette Valley between Eugene and Corvallis.


POSITION:

Kitchen Server

POSTING DATE: November 18, 2025


SALARY RANGE: $17.86-$23.56 per hour. Placement on the salary schedule will be commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our Food Service Support team. This position is essential to the daily operations of our district and provides vital support to our students. Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week, Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory. Prepare food menu items as well as assisting with special meal events Set up/help serve breakfast and/or lunch at assigned school Assist cooperatively with all co-workers to meet preparation timelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in working with children. Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Be punctual and reliable.

Food Service

: must have valid food handlers licence.


BENEFITS: Employer paid insurance CAP to assist with health, dental and vision premiums, employer paid Basic Life and AD&D policies. Two (2) days of personal leave, ten (10) days sick leave, seven (7) paid holidays, and PERS retirement contribution. Applicable benefits will be prorated for the remainder of the school year and dependent upon the hours contracted.
