Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and production of food items according to established recipes and guidelines. Ensure compliance with all FDA regulations and food safety standards throughout the production process. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Operate machinery and equipment safely, including forklifts when necessary, to facilitate the movement of materials. Package finished products efficiently while ensuring quality control measures are met. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or a food processing plant is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to operate a forklift is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality in food processing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.60 - $18.00 per hour
