Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with catering teams for special events and banquets, ensuring menu execution meets guest expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with health regulations. Innovate new menu items and improve existing recipes based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback. Ensure proper food management practices are followed to maintain quality and safety.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations is preferred. Knowledge of inventory control processes and food management practices. Bartending skills are a plus for establishments that serve beverages alongside meals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu development is essential.
