We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in preparing and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and basic cooking tasks, ensuring that all food safety standards are upheld. Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and standards Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during food handling Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs as needed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment Organize and store ingredients properly to ensure freshness and safety Assist with serving food during meal service times Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures Support catering events or special functions as required Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills Familiarity with meal preparation, food handling, and food safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team Culinary experience or training is a plus but not mandatory Prior kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous for success in this role
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
