Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Crew member to join our culinary team. This role involves supporting food preparation, meal service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry operations, experience in food handling, and excellent teamwork skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to menu specifications
Support food presentation and plating to ensure appealing dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Help with menu planning and meal assembly for various dietary needs
Ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours
Assist with catering events and special meal requests as needed
Support the team in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies
Uphold high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety within the kitchen environment
Qualifications
Prior experience in dietary departments, catering, or food service is preferred
Culinary experience or restaurant background is a plus
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the kitchen setting
Food industry or kitchen experience is highly valued but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
