cabinet refinishing, refacing, spray finishing, and full kitchen/bath remodels

Our commercial division provides finishing services for

general contractors, millwork packages, libraries, tenant fit-outs, and multi-unit buildings

.

We are expanding and need a

skilled Cabinet Refinisher/Spray Painter

who can work on the road at job sites and inside our finishing workshop.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who has

hands-on cabinetry finishing experience

and is comfortable working in:

?

Residential Homes

Kitchen cabinet refinishing, repainting, and touch-ups.

?

Commercial Projects

Library millwork, office casework, tenant renovation, reception desks, and built-ins.

You will work

primarily in Maryland (Eastern Shore, Annapolis, Howard, PG, Montgomery, Anne Arundel) and the Washington DC region

, with periodic finishing work at our St. Michaels workshop.

Approximate split:

70% On-site residential & commercial refinishing

30% Spray finishing in our shop

Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Finishing

Prep work (masking, protecting surfaces, hardware removal, labeling) Sanding, cleaning, bonding prep Apply primers, sealers, conversion varnish/urethane finishes (water- or solvent-based) Touch-ups for commercial millwork installations Maintain a clean and safe work area in homes and facilities Professional customer interactions

Shop Spray Finishing

HVLP spraying of cabinet doors, drawers, trim, and panels Maintain spray booth, equipment, filters, guns Produce factory-grade finish quality Light repairs (fill, caulk, adjustments) Experience with refacing, veneer application, or laminate repairs Light carpentry skills for cabinet adjustments Experience with conversion varnish or pre-catalyzed lacquer Prior experience in a millwork shop or similar trade

Required Qualifications

2+ years professional cabinet finishing, spray painting, or millwork finishing

Proficiency with

HVLP systems

(Graco, Fuji, Apollo, Kremlin, etc.) Experience working cleanly in residential homes Capable of working on commercial job sites under GC coordination Reliable transportation + valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver cabinets, doors, and panels Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Compensation & Benefits

$22-$25/hr
