We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in preparing and maintaining high-quality food service. Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills Support meal preparation and plating for service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards Handle food safely during preparation and storage to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as needed Support catering events or special meal services as required Ensure all food handling procedures meet safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service

Skills

Experience in cooking, food preparation, or food service environments preferred Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Previous restaurant or catering experience is a plus Passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn culinary skills
