Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We're looking for a dependable Kitchen Assistant who can handle both food-prep and dish duties.
You'll start early, help the cooks set up for service, and keep the kitchen running smooth through cleanup.

What you'll do

Portion ingredients, cut fruit, prep batters, and restock the line
Wash dishes, trays, and smallwares; keep the dish area organized

Assist cooks during rushes (drop items, restock stations)

Maintain clean floors, surfaces, and sanitation standards

Help close the kitchen at the end of shift

Basic qualifications

Experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications

Reliable and on-time (this shift starts early!)
Able to lift 40 lbs and stay on your feet for most of the day

Team-player attitude -- no egos, no drama

Prior kitchen or dish experience a plus, but we'll train the right person

Positive, respectful energy -- we're small, so attitude matters
