We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Aide to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our childcare center. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for meals Support cooking and meal assembly according to menu plans and dietary guidelines Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Serve meals to residents or clients in a courteous and efficient manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to meet health standards Assist with menu planning under supervision, ensuring variety and nutritional balance Support catering events or special meal requests as needed Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and sanitation Ensure proper portioning and presentation of meals for optimal quality

Experience

Prior experience in dietary services, food preparation, or kitchen operations is preferred but not required Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is desirable Culinary experience including knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is a plus Familiarity with menu planning, catering, or serving roles within the food industry enhances suitability for the position

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
