Description
Kinship Navigator or the Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A), one position available based in Sequim or Aberdeen, WA.
Duties
Provides needs and eligibility assessment, resource consultation, and enrollment assistance in public benefits programs to kinship caregivers.
Conducts home visits and community education and outreach.
This is a regional position serving clients in all 4 counties, frequent travel is required.
Qualifications
BA in liberal arts or social/health sciences & minimum two years of paid social service experience. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to perform program outreach including public speaking.
Requires current WDL & insured vehicle.
Supplemental Information
40 hrs./wk. Non-Exempt. $28.96 starting wage if hired at Step 1. Maximum pay at end of range Step 12 is $37.99/hr.
